Hailing from Germany, the Quadrostar Pro Yellow Laser is an improved version of the commonly used Dual Yellow / Combination laser.
Due to its special wavelength of 577nm, Pro Yellow Laser is able to produce 40% higher absorption in blood, making it effective for vascular and epidermal pigmentation treatments.

Pro Yellow Laser and other skin rejuvenation lasers have different wavelengths and available pulse duration adjustments of each desired wavelength. This translates to different laser wavelengths (colours of light) can target different types of skin conditions.
Pro Yellow Laser (577nm)
Comparing to Dual Yellow or Combination Laser, Pro Yellow Laser has a specific wavelength of 577nm, instead of a mixture of 532nm (green light) and 577nm (pure yellow light). Traditionally, the commonly used laser wavelength for pigmented lesions such as sunspots or age spots and vascular lesions like spider veins has been 532nm (green light).
However, green light lasers with the wavelength of 532nm did not reach deep enough to effectively reach pigmentation and blood vessels that were contributing to these issues, making it no longer ideal for treating such conditions for darker skin tones.

Treatment Duration

Pro Yellow Laser is a relatively well tolerated and comfortable treatment. Each treatment will last around 30-35 minutes, including preparation time.

Typically, you do not need numbing cream, as patients usually experience a warm or mild prickling sensation. However, if you have a low pain tolerance, numbing cream will be provided to ensure a comfortable treatment experience.
